She can finally stop talking about herself in the third person
My journey has been quite an interesting one. I am a computer engineer by education and a self taught UX Designer. I do not use the phrase "intersection of art and technology", but I do find the process of going from idea to execution endlessly beautiful. I see myself more as a facilitator than anything else - a facilitator of conversations, ideas and change. I have constantly pushed myself out of my comfort zone, both in personal and professional situations. I derive inspiration from everyday resilience of everyday people.
After working in the tech industry for 10 years as a UI and a UX Designer, I decided to take a break and study for my masters degree at California College of the Arts. I enjoy reading, and one of my favourite things to do these days is to walk around the city on a warm sunny day. I am also currently running a social experiment where I live with a lot of housemates.
My B2B enterprise experience has made me comfortable with complexity and constraints
From interconnected systems to buttons and gradients, from ambiguity to impact
'If I do not know it, I shall learn it'- is pretty much what I live by everyday
I think these are the most important but often underrated qualities of a good leader
Do something everyday even if it might not be the best each time
Jk, honestly I do not have a strong opinion on this one
I also believe that it's the stories
that make data impactful.
I strive to create the kind of impact that would foster change for the better through
my work. Often the biggest impact is created by the most straightforward solutions.
Cringing because she used the word impact three times in a row
